RESERVATION REQUIRED - Luncheon Meeting - 11:45am until 1:30pm
With Bills before Congress and the Senate we appear poised to enter the next stage of secure Internet commerce. Over 40 States already accept electronic signatures, but until the latest action by the Federal Government inter-state commerce was held hostage to the enactment of a Federal Standard. Finally, it would appear we are about to enjoy unprecedented growth in e-commerce as these bills enter committee stage.
Electronic signature acceptance promises more efficient and safer business processes and new avenues for reaching customers open up to us, including mechanisms for realizing and protecting business alliances far superior to anything we have to date experienced. To say that this is probably the most important thing to happen to the development of e-commerce would be an understatement.
In answer to the many requests from our members we are bringing one of the industry's leading experts to explain and then debate with us this important new development. Seats will of course be limited, and we expect them to fill fast, so we advise everyone to book as soon as possible to avoid any possible disappointment.
