Human Resources and Benefits management has long been probably the only "full-term" branch of management that is common to all organizations, private and public, large and small.  As one of our members once observed, "we have contact from before the applicant is hired right through their career and on into their retirement and in some cases after they have passed over we continue to be there for their families".

We are hosting this luncheon because retirement planning has become a benefit thrust into the limelight over the last year or so, first for the dot.com explosive effect on 401(k) and other retirement plans, and lately for the sudden drop in most of our employees net worth after the slide.

It is possible that the surge of the stock market over the last decade did something that few other events have ever done, and that was to get people thinking about their financial future.

Hence this luncheon.  If planning is the seed of success, then the more HR and Benefits professionals understand how the system works, the better off they are and the better they will be able to answer the questions of their employees productively.

This will be a closed meeting. Numbers will be limited to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the discussion.

There is of course no cost and no obligation whatsoever placed upon
our guests by attending and even their valet parking will be paid.
