Instructions to The Saint Francis Hotel
Today organizations have
to deliver a more business-based approach to technology spending. No
longer can technology be acquired just because it exists. The need today
is to justify spending and investment in terms of the organization's top and
bottom lines, and to focus on IT improvements that reduce costs and improve
customer service levels. IT must be aligned with the business,
or be outsourced.
Regardless of how your organization operates it's business, IT service
levels, end user satisfaction and technology availability is visible not only
to the CIO, but the CEO as well. Further, even with headcount and budget
reductions in IT, there can never be any allowable decrease in service levels.
The Business Forum first worked with Candle Corporation almost 20 years ago
and they have led the world in this technology ever since. Today 70% of
the world's data centers are employing technology that Candle developed.
This luncheon will bring together some of the Bay Area's leading users of
technology with some of the world's leading experts in this endeavor to
improve efficiency and effectiveness in the use of data on organization-wide
improvement programs. Where the conversation will go will depend entirely upon the
interaction at the table, but it should be a very useful use of time for
everyone involved.
We invite you to join us for lunch at the Saint Francis Hotel on January 21st,
2003 in a gathering of your peers to review the options available to us all as
we go forward.
There is of course no cost and no obligation
whatsoever placed upon
our
guests by attending and of course valet parking will be paid by us.
